About This Event

For seven days, hundreds of people from around the world explored a deceptively simple question: What if the capacity to flourish isn't something you need to build — but something you were born with?

Drawing on decades of neuroscience research by Richie Davidson and Cort Dahl, we moved through the four trainable pillars at the heart of human flourishing — Awareness, Connection, Insight, and Purpose — not as abstract ideas, but as lived experiments. Each day brought a new reading, a short meditation, a small real-world practice, and an invitation to reflect honestly with fellow podmates.

There no preset answers. We practiced. Not in proximity but together.  And through it all, something happened in the space between us.

One podmate began the week unable to recall a single moment of kindness — only to discover the pain she'd been bracing against underneath. By midweek, she wrote: "Is this what they mean by beginner's mind? It's like a whole new layer has opened." A former aerospace engineer realized he'd spent decades professionally trained to scan for what's wrong — and saw how that lens had quietly shaped his entire inner life. A musician who had been willed back to life after a cardiac arrest spent the week finding flourishing in his daily guitar practice — where the same piece is never the same piece. A teacher in a mosque shared how a simple instruction to pause for one minute before prayer opened a door to a calmness she'd never known. And hundreds more — from caregivers to neuroscientists, from teenagers to retirees, from thirty-something countries — brought their whole, honest selves to the practice.

This Sunday, we gather one last time — with Richie and Cort — not to wrap things up, but to sit together with what has emerged. What shifted? What surprised you? What feels like it wants to keep growing?

To join us, simply RSVP below and you'll receive call details by email.

Thank you for practicing together — for the vulnerability, the honesty, the willingness to notice what was already here. As the research reminds us: flourishing is contagious. What you cultivated this week doesn't stay with us alone. It ripples.
