We are hosting a Founder's Circle with a small group of diverse founders. While there is only space for 6 in that circle, we'd love to open up the dialogue to a few more like-hearted changemakers and everyday-heroes. We invite you to join as a "guest-listener" to the conversation.
Time: 9:30am - 12pm (followed by optional lunch)
Location: Ghatkopar, Mumbai
About Founder's Circle: Perhaps it's hyperbole to say that we live in unprecedented times. Yet, it's hard to fathom the implications of current meta-crises coupled with an intelligence revolution that find ourselves in.
Such times of rampant unintended consequences require us to move from narrow boundary intelligence -- characterized by either/or, linear thinking, and forms of accountability defined in terms of single-goal optimization -- to a wide-boundary intelligence that allows us to work with complexity, uncertainty, and ambiguity. Or as Jan Eliasson says, "Without passion, nothing happens; without compassion, the wrong things happen." In this gathering, founders of an effort -- whether in the private, public or voluntary sector -- who aim to elevate compassion and wisdom in today's fragmented world, would be invited to an intimate dialogue wherein they share their lens on the world, the questions it raises in their minds, and the kind of compassion "acupuncture points" that they find themselves drawn to. The format invites everyone to lead with presence, in a way that might open into unexpected synergy and collective action in the world. Among a couple of names already confirmed, are Jayesh Parekh, former co-founder of Sony Entertainment Television, Abhishek Gupta, Founder Navgurukul, and Nipun Mehta, Founder of Servicespace.
Guest listeners: As guest listeners, you are invited to hold space to learn from each other's experiences and nurture "a stream of meaning flowing among us and through us and between us -- out of which will emerge some new understanding, something creative." (David Bohm). Guest listeners will also have the opportunity to offer their unique perspective through presencing questions or offering reflections followed by informal interactions over lunch.
If you'd like to join as a "guest listener", simply RSVP here. In keeping with the unique composition of the group, we would like to keep this gathering intimate, limiting the guest listeners to around 15. We'll keep you posted by Thursday Dec 19, if we're able to include you.
