Special Awakin with Maitri Shah

You're Invited to a Special Awakin with Maitri Shah – "Challenges as Our Unseen Gifts"

"Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we receive it." – Charles R. Swindoll

At just six months old, Maitri Shah was diagnosed with Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. While her body may have faced limitations, her spirit knew none. She defied conventions—insisting on attending regular schools, excelling academically, and ultimately earning a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Georgia Tech. An artist, she has been recognized as a Young Changemaker by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and has dedicated her life to uplifting others through her NGO, WoW (Wills on Wheels), and her tech start-up, Mind Assets

But beyond these accomplishments lies an even deeper wisdom—one born from embracing life fully, just as it is.

Join us on April 2, 2025, for a special Awakin Talk as Maitri shares her journey of resilience, joy, and purpose. Together, we will explore profound questions: How do we recognize the hidden gifts in our challenges? Can ambition coexist with acceptance? How do we cultivate gratitude, even when life unfolds differently than planned?

Awakin Circles are spaces of deep listening and shared inquiry, where we come together to hold sacred conversations that nourish the soul. This evening will be one of reflection, connection, and inspiration.

We invite you to sit in stillness, listen deeply, and explore how challenges may just be life’s most precious, unseen gifts.
