Backyard Potluck Gathering in Kozo’s Memory

We remember fondly our ServiceSpace friend Kozo Hattori who brought to any gathering his wide beaming smile, an energy and love rooted in aloha, and a willingness to help wherever needed. In 2021, following Kozo’s passing, it was not possible for us to gather in person to connect with one another in his memory. Four years later, we wish to make it happen, with a gathering in a backyard to share good food and stories together, the way Kozo so loved doing when he was alive.

Kozo’s potluck will take place on Father’s Day, June 15 from 11a to 1p. Please RSVP to receive the location details. If you'd like to bring a dish, sign up here to help aim for an even spread. Your presence is the greatest gift -- please do come, whether or not you are adding any items to the potluck!

We understand Kozo had many friends and loved ones throughout California and beyond, and if you are not able to be present in person for this potluck, your good thoughts that day will be a blessing for Kozo’s family and community.
