"There’s a big difference between motivation and inspiration. Inspire through values and motivation takes care of itself." --Tony Hsieh
How can we integrate our work life more deeply with values? Can our “livelihood” make a positive impact in society while also supporting our inner wellbeing? Is it possible to shift from centralized ego-systems to more deeply engaged eco-systems?
To explore further, we are hosting a week-long virtual immersion: a collective exploration with like-minded friends from across the globe, coming together with the shared intention of being the change we wish to see in the world, in ways that are both personal and systemic. Each day will feature "head" readings and videos, "hands" practices, and "heart" reflections; and collectively, we hope to support an emergence that is greater than the sum of the parts.
Some of the inquires we will hold in our circle, include: Along with outer growth, can business be a tool for our inner growth and wellbeing? Where everything has a price, how might we not lose touch with the “priceless” in our lives? In rapidly changing business, technology and societal context, how do we skilfully hold the emerging nuances of “ethical business”? Is it possible to cultivate deep relationships in a business context -- that is, can Profit and Love coexist? Can business support inner and outer transformation? And more!
We hosted first instance of this pod in April, and were amazed by the interest in the topic and diversity of participants, from over 20 countries. From a young startup whiz integrating gifteconomy principles in his company, to a B-school professor writing a book on "How to Do Good with Money", to a global supply chain expert who moved back to her home in Chile to turn a horse whisperer, to a leading wealth manager from Germany who ended up 10 years in meditation and prayer, to a serial entrepreneur who is democratizing business meetings from hierarchical pyramids to inclusive circles, to a leading diamond-merchant from India who went from return-on-equity to equanimity, to a local-business champion who is inspiring wealth holders to reimagine money, to a venture capitalist who thinks deeply about the gift-spectrum, to an Austrian journalist for purpose-driven companies, to a young investment banker who courageously experiments with his salary! From leaders of large corporations to everyday heroes committed to leading with values in business, to some remarkable social change professionals, it was an experiment to ignite a co-created field of learning and relationships where the whole can be greater than the sum of parts.
Inspired by the overwhelming feedback, we are delighted to offer this pod again August 1st to 8th.
The Pod Process comes alive at the intersection of three intersecting spheres: (a) inspiring content: Pod will feature uniquely curated readings, practices, and case studies around our theme; (b) many-to-many context: via our innovative, non-commercial Pod Technology, Pod creates a multi-dimensional container to weave the whole beyond the sum of its parts; (c) skillful anchoring: volunteers holding this pod are well versed in the precious art of balancing leadership with 'laddership'.
If you are moved to explore these questions in such a context, with like-hearted friends globally, we invite you to join this co-creative experiment!
||August 1st: Orientation Call
We'll start with a virtual orientation call to connect all Pod participants and volunteers and to take you through the process of daily prompts and other pod details.

||Aug 2-7: Building the Field!
Every alternate "inhale" day, you'll get a daily prompt with a "head" reading, a "hands" practice, and a "heart" reflection. On the other "exhale" days, you'll be reading the live curriculum -- of reflections from podmates! -- and adding your responses to it.
