21-Day Climate Action Challenge
Starts Apr 22, 2023!
Starting on Earth Day, April 22nd, we invite you to join us on a 21-day Climate Action Challenge! Each day will invite us to act on a practice, expand our horizons and reflect in community.
Last month, scientists made a strange and somber discovery: plants under duress make audible sounds that other species can hear many feet away but aren't audible to humans. A tomato plant that hasn't gotten enough water, a grapevine being cut, or wheat growing thin due to poor soil. Amidst the state of humanity's disconnection today -- with ourselves, each other and nature -- how might we listen beyond sounds to our heart's intelligence, see into an expansive landscape from our granddaughter's eyes, and feel into an awareness of our interconnection with the web of all life? Tenderly feeling into each others' pain, what personal practices might bring healing one small act, one square inch of earth, and one human heart at a time?
Join podmates from 63 countries, to engage in practical daily actions, learn about innovations informed by the latest from science and policy, and build a field of collective intelligence around a new story of interdependence! Here's how it works:
- Be the Change: Starting April 22nd, every day, you'll receive an email with ideas and tips to make small, positive changes in your lifestyle that foster a deeper connection to our planet.
- We the Change: After engaging in the daily act, you are invited to share your reflections, read others' experiences and interact with each other's stories to nurture a collective field of peer-learning.
- Inspire the Change: Every Saturday at 8AM PST (convert timezone), we come together for a 90-minute group video call to share real-time reflections and hear from inspiring guests. See more below.
GUEST SPEAKERS: we're thrilled to host a stellar group of inspirations for this challenge!
