Family Lab: Gather and Grow (Oct)
Walton-on-Thames (Surrey)
Join us on Saturday, October 12th from 2:30-5:00pm for the next Family Lab event!
At each gathering, we aim to collectively explore relevant topics and learn essential skills that contribute to a more meaningful and nourishing family life at home. Each session includes a variety of fun exercises and games to practice what we learn from each other in a safe space, so that we can take these skills home with us and put them to use in our everyday lives.
Communication and Miscommunication :)
Children, do you often feel like your parents don't see things from your perspective and stand in your shoes? Parents, do you feel the same way too at times?
This month we will collectively explore communication and miscommunication between parents and kids, a common challenge in most families :)
Come along to the next Family Lab to explore how we can all learn to understand each other better through stronger communication, so that both parents and kids feel acknowledged, understood and validated in our interactions with each other. We will explore how we can work together to understand each other's needs and perspectives, so that we can communicate effectively and connect with more ease!
About Family Labs
There are many aspects of our day-to-day lives which keep families apart, including school, work, afterschool activities, etc. Family Lab events aim to bring everyone together in a fun space, where parents and children can gather and grow, and learn from each other with a community of like-minded friends. Given the nature of the activities, children 4-16 will benefit the most and engage in the activities independently. However, if you need to bring a younger sibling along, they can tag along with you during the activities ☺️
Register below for each parent attending and use this link to register each child attending, to help us plan logistics.
We can’t wait to see you at the next Family Lab event! ❤️
With gratitude,
Trishna, Claire, Ankita and Felicity
Once you register, you'll be emailed the details.
