Thank you, all, for sharing your remarkable stories in the first week. It's hard to believe it's been less than a week together! Not only did we find a bit more of ourselves through our own stories, but in stories of others as well.
This weekend, we are delighted to reconvene to further share our reflections -- with fresh stories, inspired story-tellers, songs, and much more! :)
We are particularly thrilled to have two special guests join us! Sister Marilyn
went from volunteering at an airport to help refugees find connecting flights to now being globally recognized for her work with Mercy Beyond Borders. The subtitle of her memoir reads, "Story of God Arriving in Strangers" and the quote in her email signature is by Jan Elliason, "Without passion, nothing happens; without compassion, the wrong things happen." In addition, we're blessed with live song offerings from singer-songwriter Rachelle Jeanty!
Having toured around the world singing with Celine Dion, Rachelle's soulful pipes are a force to be reckoned with. She's performed at the United Nations in New York in 2012, on The Voice, Germany in 2015, appeared in Vienna Opera Ball as a disco queen in 2018, sang as a bond girl in the Music of James Bond concert in 2020, and countless more. We'll get to also hear of her moving journey that has taken remarkable twists on its way to a New Story!
If you can join, simply RSVP below and you'll be emailed the details and also find them listed on the screen. We look forward to co-creating and deepening our shared field of supporting each other's new, old and ancient stories!
