Special Awakin Gathering with Suruchi & Abhishek

Join Us for a Special Awakin Gathering on "Intentional Relationships"

This December 4th at 7 PM, at Ghatkopar East, Mumbai, we are honoured to host two extraordinary voices, Suruchi Aulakh and Abhishek Thakore, who will illuminate the nuances of "Intentional Relationships." RSVP here

Suruchi (or Moh) wears many hats with grace: actress, mother, space-holder, and unabashedly tone-deaf singer who belts out tunes with gusto. She blends the curiosity of a scholar with the disciplined artistry of a seasoned performer.

With degrees in Psychology and Theatre, she has spent two decades at the helm of her own theatre and training company, Jhoom. Her career spans numerous ad campaigns, a handful of films, and two theatre productions currently captivating audiences. Beyond the stage, Suruchi is a passionate advocate for the transformative power of theatre. She regularly leads workshops for diverse groups—children, NGOs, and corporate professionals alike—igniting minds and opening hearts.

Together with Abhishek, she has designed and conducted impactful workshops, seminars, and courses focused on fostering loving, meaningful relationships. Suruchi truly believes that the right tools and a dash of theatre can help anyone turn over a new leaf.

Abhishek Thakorea movement buildertraveller, author, glocal citizen and a standup philosopher, whose career dances gracefully at the intersection of mindfulness and systemic change, will lead us on a journey through the realm of conscious connections. Known for transforming ordinary dialogues into epic narratives, Abhishek encourages us to see relationships not as mere transactions but as landscapes of personal growth.” One might say he has a penchant for turning the mundane into 'meta! With wisdom akin to a Zen koan, he invites us to explore the profound simplicity of being present.

Suruchi and Abhishek are parents to a young adult Ananya.

This article or this podcast give a flavour of their journey.

Join us as we explore the delicate art of crafting intentional relationships. This gathering will be an opportunity to sit in silence, listen, and be in community as we awaken to new possibilities in our relationships.

What practices can help us transform routine interactions into meaningful connections? Can we navigate differences in relationships while honoring our own authentic selves? In what ways can recognizing our own vulnerabilities enhance our ability to love others radically? How do we balance the paradox of being open-hearted while maintaining healthy boundaries in relationships? Can technology enhance the depth of our connections?
