Acts of Kindness Gathering at Access Life (Home for children with Cancer)

Dear ones,

You are invited to a Sunday morning of kindness, connection and reflection, where we experiment and experience kindness and connection - this time at a local home for Cancer children (Chembur). 

Date : May 3, 2026, Sunday
Time : 9.45 am to 11.45 am

Venue : Access Life Sandu Home, Chembur. Plot no. 372 D, Deep Ashish,  Road no. 9, Near Sandu Garden, Chembur east, Mumbai 400071.

What will we do there? We will engage the kids (cancer patients) and their parents with some games, songs and conversations. It is our excuse to reach out to those we usually tend to blur out of our routine lives, share a smile and seed a thought of kindness in their hearts. It may also involve some other ways to engaging in kind acts. Your creative ways of reaching out to another human heart, are welcome. Our conversations with the kids and their parents may be marked by sensitivity about their condition and life situation.

Can I get my children? Is there an age limit? This circle is open for all, including and especially for kids of all age. 

What can I carry or get for the children?

Your presence! : We intend to engage the kids and their parents in some games and conversations. So bring your gifts of attention, care and masti :) 

In case you would like to get something in physical form too, 
 
Books : Access Life runs these homes for children with cancer, and their families, to stay while the treatment is on. These homes have a library. If you have some children's books at your place - English and mother tongue / vernacular, which you or your child has read and liked, and you would like to offer / donate to their library, then you can get a few books.   

Home made Nimboo Paani / Chhaas  : We will offer some home made chhaas nimboo paani to the parents of the children. If you wish, you can make some at home and carry it with you. 

Amul Masti Chhaas  Tetrapak form or Fruits: The kids are permitted to have this. There are a total of 8 kids at this center so bring only 2-3 tetrapaks max per person :) Among fruits, you can also get apples or eliaichi bananas.
