ReKINdle: Pod Volunteer Reunion

Two weeks into the pandemic, we asked: "how do we amplify the lotus in the mud?" Our response was unique. By May 2020, we sent out a note: "How do we lead with emergence in times of emergency?"  That included a quiet invitation, "a game perhaps, a 4-week format. Fifty of us are in." Well, that game became Pods, those four weeks are still going, and fifty has now grown to many in 100+ countries. It has profoundly transformed lives. And we're coming together to reflect, remember and ripple that beautiful journey. :)

The secret sauce behind Pods has been the volunteers. Every pod requires 1000 hours per week to unlock it's "mama-ing, mirroring and murmuring" potential. It remains a mystery how so many of us magnetized to an uncommon invitation: "WANTED: people willing to put in a lot of labor, receive no salary, work invisibly, give away the credit to others, and operate with a momentary team that will soon dissolve itself." Then again, maybe its not so mysterious. It's just love, isn't it?

This Sunday, Pod Volunteers are coming together to celebrate that spirit of service! Among the couple hundred of us who have served, we want to reconnect, soak in the highlights of  the past two years (remember Nitul's guitar, Monica's anthem, Linh's art, Brian's stories, Nina's song, monks chanting, Wakanyi's prayer?!?), and of course, explore any emergent ideas for ongoing cross pollination!

Susan has aptly titled our celebation -- "ReKINdle". Our two hour gathering includes stories, songs, interactions in small groups, some fun movement (yes, that's a dancing gif from a call few days ago!) alongside meditations ... and surely some surprise performances for bunch of you! :)

This event is hosted by our "Full Moon Pod", so look out from emails from that group. The event is now over, but a few glimpses below, and in the 'clips' tab!
